Camshafts... 120-130

I found a slightly rusty camshaft in the trunk of my new car - along with a B18 head, a bunch of connecting rods, rocker shaft, and some miscellaneous engine and accessory goodies (like a vacuum advance distributor). According to the car's history, the original motor was destroyed and salvaged, so I figure these bits are from the original B18B engine.
Supposedly, the original owner found another 1968 B18B and installed it. Not sure on that part of the story yet... Missouri in not exactly "classic volvo central."

Anyway, I was curious if the rust on the camshaft was serious, so I took my wire wheel to it and was very happy to find that it cleaned up very well, with no visible pitting or rust damage. I was oiling it up for storage, when I found a large "A" stamped into the distal end of the cam. I compared the cam to one of my 1967 B18D cams which had a "B" stamped into it.

I''ve heard about a couple different cam grinds - people mention the K grind isky cam a lot, but I've really no idea what the pros/cons of the different camshafts are.

In my engine/parts collection, I've got:
2 1967 B18D blocks with B grinds (I assume both, but have only checked one)
2 1968 B18B blocks with A grinds (I assume both, but have only checked one)
1 1971 B20E block with an unknown cam (came to me from an 1800E through JohnMC).

A B18D block and the B20E are installed in my cars, so I can't check those easily.

What are the pros/cons of these different cam grinds? Is there a site that discusses these in any detail?

Thanks for any info!
