240 stalls random times

Hi Folks,
My 1990 240 four-door sedan automatic with 170000 miles has been running smmothly for the last 2 years. 4 days ago, after driving on a dry summer day on the interstate for 40 minutes I got off and went about 4 miles and stalled waiting at a traffic light. Yesterday, I drove on the interstate on for 30 minutes, got off and stalled after waiting at a traffic light.
I just put in new bosch plugs.
I am hoping that it is just water in the gas tank or something similar.
Please help.
