Leaky sunroof and related issues 200 1981

Hello again to knowleadgable bricksters.

I come forward to you again with a request of help/advice because I know you know!

I could not resistmy 1989 240 DL sedan needed company and against my wife AND mechanics advice I recently purchased a 1981 240 GL in need of attention...
The car is in rough shape but the engine is good and I know I can fix the rest

It's a nice sedan, assembled in Halifax as Volvo used to deo back in the days to save taxes here in canada, 2.1 with 4 speed + OD and.... it has a manual sunroof!

Unfortunately the sunroof does not shut down properly and it leaks up to the point that the front seats are soaked wet when it rains.... Now ,it's actualy my first car with a sunroof,I don't want to seal it I would like to fix it,Can you help me?
Is it something that is relatively easy to fix? Or I should go see a sopecialist?
Maybe it's been adressed before in this forum so you can just direct me to the link?
The front seats used to be leather but are now all ripped and the foam is probably all moldy because of all the water they've been soaking up for god knows how long... Can I fit any model/year 240's seats? Those currently in the car are not heated and I guess it should make things simpler...

Thank you again for any advice, You guys already gave me a lot of hel p in the past

André

PS: Oh! On the center consol next to the rear defrost button there is a green switch that reads rear demist but does not seem to do anything at all.. anybody knows what it is? Thanks
