Damn near a hole in my hood

Sons gone off to Scout Camp, and got the car out riding around and wamb, boom, bang and then what the hell was that--Got out raised the hood and the strut on the pass side had shot out of its hole and pounded the hood from below.
The rubber that goes around the strut had given up the ghost up at the top of the mount at the bearing assembly-I guess I better put some new strut bushings in (ya think) Where should I go for these I see Grotten's got the scan tech for 18 bucks a side but I'm leary of em.
Anyone?
