240 AC Switch 200 1984

Hello All,

I had the dash panel unscrewed to install a radio and noticed that one of the wires coming from the microswitch (red/white) is not connected to anything. I don't notice the idle speed changing if I switch on the AC but I do notice that it seems the fan may always be on (always feel air circulating in the floor area). The car is running rough when it is first started up and not too great on gas so I'm wondering if the idle speed is stuck at the increased level?

I have a wiring diagram for an 85 out of a Haynes manual which I'm assuming is the same as an 84. Microswitch is number 213. Shows a red wire coming in from 107 (AC main rotary control switch) on one terminal. Other terminal shows two wires, one white/red going to 206 (switch, heater fan CU) and one red that goes to 214 (Control unit B23F LH-Jetronic 2). Seems that mine is not connected to whatever 206 is. I assumed 206 was the rotary fan blower switch but looked at the back and I don't see anyplace for a missing connection.

Anyone know what and where 206/"switch, heater fan CU" is?
