paint gun ; who is cheap for small areas? 200

Greetings:
I have an 87 245 with rust around windshield. I think I want to keep glass and have new style rubber put in. it is obvious I have several leaks and PO has many calk spots. When I have the guy do the window I think paint with zero-rust or similar and then a quart? of matching enamel from NAPA sprayed from a small gun, perhaps the $12 Harbor Freight one. It seems a shame to let the rust continue, and more shame to not make an attempt to fix-stop while I am in there. I hope to get 5 more years out of vehicle (250k) which pro-rates various repairs to a reasonable amount per year, assuming no catastrophe. I always end up spending too much, but I think of cost of daily driver for 5 years if its 245 vs something much newer and more expensive. Anyway Harbor Frt have several, and I have a small compressor. Very biggest spray area would be the cowl, since that is a distinct panel. BTW I have heard you can have spray paint custom for my vehicle, perhaps 3 cans is option B?Thanks.
