I mentioned that the transmission in my 740 was making a lot of strange noises.

Forgive my ignorance but is there somewhere under the hood where I can check it? I have always driven a manual tranny so I don't know nuthin' about checking the fluid. (I am assuming there must be a dipstick somewhere but I could be wrong)
Any aftermarket stuff I should add after I find the place to add whatever I need?

I feel like a stupid woman. Know a whole lot about my 122, but not 740
