960 intake manifold leak 900

I have a 93 960 wagon with 178 k miles.
The engine was idling rough and a friend
confirmed an intake manifold gasket leaking
between #1 and #2 cylinder.

My question
is can that be treated with a chemical additive
or how long can the car run with the leak. On
the road..... the car runs fine with no miss or hesitation.
