I just did a search and there's just too much info to sort out - hoping someone has had this exact problem and can help. My 92 wagon is stalling fairly regularly right after putting it in gear to back out of a parking space. It has never stalled at a stop sign, or otherwise once running. Only right after starting and backing up, usually. There is no stuttering or anything, it just quietly dies, and immediately restarts. It may do this two or three times before staying on. I notice the idle speed is very low, just before stalling; it dips below 500, then dies out (zero). Any thoughts?
