Hi,

When I move the climate control slider control all the way to the right into the demister/defogger setting (which blows air from the vents at the base of the windshield) the air conditioner comes on.

Strange.

In the demister/defogger position the A/C comes on when I have the heat setting in either the coldest or the warmest setting. It does not make any difference.

As I understand it the A/C should only come on in three possible settings all to the very left on the control slider and all of them have a blue symbol marked on the control.

So is there some part of the operation of the A/C I do not understand or do I perhaps have a short circuit.

I am certain the A/C is coming on I can see the A/C compressor engage.

Any ideas?
