89 Tranny Swap-Need Specific Info 200 1989

Planning to do an engine + tranny swap, I keep finding general info on the BB, looking to get some specific info on this, if possible.
Donor Car: 1989 245DL, manual (M47?) broken tail end of rear driveshaft.
Project Car: 1989 240DL, auto (AW70?)

My concerns as of now:
Driveshaft? Does anybody know if I can use the rear driveshaft from my 240 since the 245 is broken? I know I need to transfer the front 245 driveshaft to the 240.

Rear End Diff: I have been told if I leave the auto diff, I will get faster acceleration, but my top speed will stop at about 95mph(fine with me) due to the higher gearing. Any thoughts?? I would like to just not touch the rear end, faster acceleration is good with me.

Parts List: Can anybody offer a full parts list for this type of job?

Pedal Swap: is it a straightforward swap from the manual pedals into the 240? any tips/tricks?

any other info would be GREATLY appreciated. If you don't want to post, i can be reached via email: bugnacki@gmail.com

your input is greatly appreciated...i am looking forward to this Fall 2007 project, and lucky to have a donor car of the same exact year. THANKS!!!
