Hey, I'm just looking for a hand with a typical no-start volvo 740. It has the regina fuel system. This is for the most part a highway car with 295,000km. Twice now i have gone on 1500km road trips, both times having problems upon my return. The car works great on the trip, but when it is said and done both times, the car has sputtered and flooded itself out the next time it is started. The first time it did this i left it over night, and the next day would not start. One day later it fired right up. The second road trip like this was worse. The car worked beautifully for 1500k, then started hard and sputtered the next time, and the next day would not start. The car will still not start after 4 days. It floods itself out, and does not even kick until i let go of the key. one idea i have been given is the ignition amplifier, and first of all, i don't even know where or what i am looking for in this case. also, any other ideas?? any help would be greatly appreciated.
