Hello to all

I have a few questions for you.

1. The speedo jumps around on my daughters car, is this cable operated or electrical pickup.

2. The car blows blue smoke at start-up but clears within a few seconds. Could this be possible valve guide/seal leakage laying on the pistons that is burning off, or some oil where is doesnt belong in the turbo when starting. No other symptoms of oil burning when running other than at startup.
