Ignition wiring help 200

So I am swapping from Chrysler/Volvo to Bosch ignition and everything has gone relatively smoothly with a couple exceptions. The first exception is on the passenger side near the firewall there was a brown wire with aspade connector going into a plastic connector (also brown wire) and on the Bosch harness that wire isnt there but there is a blue wire with a female side instead. What do these go to and should I snip and connect?

Next problem: There are two wires coming from the Chrysler/Volvo harness that run up the front of the block and under the distributor and then disappear under the manifold. The Bosch harness doesnt have these. Wire color is orange and black and theyre sheathed together. I am thinking they might be for the knock sensor but according to the Bentley book they arent. This is an 82 wagon however and isn't technically covered by the Bentley. Is it safe to snip these and tuck them away or do they serve some function? Oh, the car is LH Jetronic 1.0 and the distributor was out of a pre-85' GLT wagon.

any ideas?
