Greetings:
I'm thinking of mounting round driving lights above the front bumper on a 1987 245. How is this done? At first glance it (the bumper) doesn't seem to give me space. On other older cars just drill down and reach up from underneath to secure. This seems not possible unless I miss something. Idea was driving lights with relay hooked to high beam so they would work when high beam switch is on (relay protecting from high current). Choices were JC Whitney (downsize to 55w bulbs) Hella 500 driving, or Bosch that I sometimes see on e-bay. The JCW look good in pictures but may rust quickly. I've got Hella fogs that may go under bumper later but I (thought) this driving might be easier.Any thoughts? preferably easy? Thanks.
