hey,
so I was driving to chicago from ohio moving myself and hit one evil rainstorm, my car wouldn't drive over 45mph and got off of a safe exit and had it towed to my chicago apartment. when i exited the highway the engine idled very roughly and smelled of gas. figuring that it may just be water logged, or one of the sensors were flooded i let the car sit for a couple of days and it started fine, idled like a champ until i started to drive it and it was doing the same thing. my air filter is dry so I don't know if the air mass meter is pooped out on me or if a spark plug is fouled (my girlfriends guess who is mechanically inclined more than I) or an O2 sensor? before i have it towed to a shop any guesses? and also, If i do tow it to a shop, anyone know of a reasonable Volvo mechanic on the north side of Chicago? (I live around Humboldt park if you are familiar with the area).
