My wife is taking a trip very shortly. I went to check the coolant, as it had been losing small amounts.

The level was down just a bit in the reservoir, so I thought to add some. When I opened the cap - the water kept coming out. I losened the cap just slightly, trying to get the pressure off - but it kept rising.

It is VERY hot, which may be the cause ..or do I have a problem with this 94 940 with about 200K on it.
