Hesitation on first acceleration when cold-- '92 945T 900 1992

Hello All:

My '92 945T will frequently hesitate once in the AM when the car is cold (or in the evening after work once the car has been sitting all day). It stumbles on opening the throttle to accelerate to city speeds for the first time, but after it overcomes that momentary hesitation/stumble it runs fine for the rest of a given trip.

I have recently replaced the cap and rotor (I couldn't believe the car would actually run when I saw the condition of the posts inside the cap-- they were nearly burnt through!). It has had plugs within the last 6 months or so. New fuel system relay, new RPM sensor. Good ignition wires, all brand name parts.

The AMM to turbo hose was replaced, as were the two hoses at the intercooler, so I think that system is sound.

Any suggestions?

Thanks!
