b18 water nipple? 120-130

Pardon my ignorance, but I recently obtained a 67 220 wagon. I was checking out the cooling system and running water through the radiator, when I noticed a nipple just behind the oil filter pouring out water. Obviously, I have no idea what it is, or what it should be connected too. I am not seeing any hoses or other inlet/outlets that it may be connected too.

What is the free flowing outlet go to?

Any help would be great.
