Wanted: used B18/B20 cam, 'A' or 'P' grind 120-130

I'm an old frequent poster (inactive lately) and have a chance to return to Volvos with a new project. After owning a 122 coupe and wagon, rebuilding a B20 and spearheading 2 1800 restos., this one feels a bit like the old Monty Python tagline: "And now for something completely different..." It's a B18 VolvoPenta boat.

After 8+ years of helping with DIY maintenance, a friend has given me this old boat for free on the 'condition' (read this as 'challenge') that I am able to make the B18 engine run and have it pull him up to plane on water skis. He weighs about 260 lbs. and he doesn't think I can do it. I'm sure I can (with the aid of this board), but I'm scratching my head a bit during the engine rebuild, since B18 boat parts seem to vary from regular auto engine parts.

After research, what I understand is that the marine B18 has a different cam in it; one with low end torque and high rev capacity. I'd like to experiment a bit with two of the stock Volvo low-end cams to see what is best, so I'm looking for help from anyone with junkyard spare cams: loaners or cheap buys.

Anyone happen to have a "P" or an "A" grind cam laying around? Send me an e-mail with the button if a regular here. As long as there's no pitting or flat spots, I'd really like to evaluate it for use before I order anything. Happy to pay shipping and more if kept or return it when done. Ideally, would like to do the cam switch next week.

Thanks,
Woody C.
