Hi all,

I haven't posted here in years, since my old 244 decided to retire - forever (a sad day). Anyway, my girlfriend has a '96 960 ... and somehow, the plastic handle has broken on the dipstick, and the rest has fallen down the guide into the engine. I haven't had a chance to see it yet, maybe it can be fished out with a magnet, or tiny needle-nosed pliers. I do not know how far in it could have fallen.

After calling salvage yards in the area, of which there are not many - I came up empty. They ask for a model and year, which I know limits my search drastically. would any car that uses the B6304 use the same dipstick?

Is there a handy list somewhere (I have tried googling, searching FAQs here) that lists all the models and years using this engine? Pretty sure some of the 700 series, 9 and some s/v80 would work. but I can't narrow it down accurately, so I can call back around to widen my search a bit.

If someone could point me to a list of models and years, I would be grateful.
