Where is the paint color code in the vin #? I want to price paint for my maroon 88 240dl. I went to a body shop and they wanted 656 dollars for just the right fender and hood to be repainted. He said the paint was pricey I want to see for myself. It is that common maroon color that is common on our cars. Does anyone know the specific name for this color.
