I pretty much quit driving my 245t when I hit a deer last year, I fixed it but could only find a yellow hood at the yard and was too embarrassed to drive it around that way.
Well my Volvo mechanic buddy was at the yard last month and came back with a maroon hood for me, he also got the grille. He said it was off an '83 turbo car. I think I know what I got here but just keep pinching myself to see if I'm dreaming.
So can anyone dispute that I got one of 500 of these things ever made twenty four years ago, and it matches my color?
If I can get back out to this yard, anything else I should nab off this car? I've read that the springs are different, but otherwise the flathoods were pretty much standard turbo cars, with the intercooler available a year earlier than other turbos.
