Change Mobil 1 @ 6000 miles? What about filter? 200

Hello,

I'm thinking of changing my 90 240 over to Mobil 1 next oil change. does that mean i don't need to change the oil again for 6000 miles? will the filter need to be changed at 3000 miles? what grade oil is recommended for a northeast 4 season climate?

is this a good idea or should i stick with the tried and true?
