KYB shocks with TME springs 700 1990

I know this has been a subject in the past, but I need to bring it up again.
I ordered TME springs for my 90'740GL and can't swing the money for Bilstein or Sachs struts / shocks. I'm looking really hard at KYB right now since the Monroe's have a bad reputation on this site.....
Will these shocks work with the TME springs? If not, then why? Does anyone have experience with TME and KYB together?
I've researched the heck out of Bilsteins and Sachs and compared them to KYB.
I just don't see the difference....please enlighten me. The money thing is definitely important. I'm replacing every front end component ($550.00 in parts, $420.00 bucks just labor with an additional $60.00 for an alignment). I can't wait to save up for the Bilsteins or Sachs (if this is the right choice) since the front-end sounds and feels like it's fixing to fall apart (lot's of crashing sounds have developed and pulsating resistance felt in steering wheel during sharp or consistent turns).

This Volvo stuff had definitely got me hooked....to the point that I'm spending way too much money!

HELP !!!!!!!
