82 244DL backfire through intake, no fuel to injectors 200

My little brothers 82 started running rich for a day, and died on him. It acts as if it wants to start, but no go. It will backfire through the intake at random. There is fuel pressure at the filter, but I pulled an injector and there seems to be no fuel getting past the fuel distributor. Is the fuel distributor? Kjet is a new concept to me. Help is greatly appreciated.
