New California smog check test Nov 2007

California is adding the "low pressure fuel evaporative test" LPFET to the usual state smog check starting Nov 1, 2007 for cars 1976-1995. (all pre OBD-2 cars)

Might be a good idea if you need a smog check within 90 days after Nov 1, 2007 to get it tested before then, otherwise budget for possible hose replacement around the fuel tank.
