I will soon replace all the hoses related the cooling system, top, bottom, and heater hoses,and valve, while the radiator is out. What's the best clamp? I always thought those band clamps from the hardware store are best but I'm told to put back the coat hanger wire sized rings that you squeeze the two points with pliers to loosen. Those clamps seemed fatigued and I have seen band clamps cut into the hose they are clamping. At the risk of posing a question like; "which is the correct way to hang a roll of toilet paper (Ann Landers once said this was her most common question-paper coming off the top or the bottom? ) which clamp is better?
