Front Fog Lights 200 1986

Since my post last week about converting the rear "fog" lights to brake lights, I installed two 55 watt halogen lights behind the front grill. Since the fog light circuit has it's own dedicated fuse (#14) I clipped the white wire on the switch and tied it to the new light circuit (through a 40A relay and base scavenged from another 240 although it is probably not necessary). That is the only modification to the existing circuit and the lights are only available when the headlights are on. It certainly makes a difference at night and they are invisible when off.

Regards,
