B234F vs B230f flame trap 700

I was looking at a friends 740 B234F engine and it seems the flame trap set up is different from a B230F. It looks like the flame guard is actually part of the oil separator box, with the hose sitting directly on the box. Is there a difference between the flame traps on these 2 engines? Thanks!
