Weird Shudder when braking! 200

Lately my 1988 240 has developed a pretty rough shudder when i brake, usually from highway speeds (70mph) The whole car shakes, as does my steering wheel. My first intuition was that it would be my brake rotors, since i can hear a feint squeal when i turn right, though the squeal goes away when i brake).

I just want to be sure tha tit IS my rotors, and not something else, since i am on a budget and don't want to spend money on rotors when i don't have to.

If they are my brake rotors, has anyone had experience with the cross-drilled rotors from Zimmerman? I'm looking for an upgrade and i've heard different things about those rotors.
