windshield washer pump doesn't..... 900

Other than the obvious possibility of a fried washer pump or fuse, any other possible things to check when I pop the hood of my '95 964 tonight to find out why the windshield washer doesn't spray (haven't listened yet under the hood, but while on the road, I didn't hear the pump running when I tried to spray) ??
