cruddy rear limiter. 120-130

my 1967 wagon had a perfectly functional, but very cruddy rear brake limiter. I removed it and sealed the ports when I upgraded it to a full dual-circuit system taken from an 1800E.

My 1968 sedan has an issue with the rear brakes locking up and screeching when I brake hard or suddenly. I figured there might be an issue with the 68's limiter After all, 22 years in a barn does some weird things. So, I was going to put in the 67's known good limiter, but I wanted to finish cleaning it and give it a nice coat of paint before I put it on. I can't get the crud out of the small area between the mounting bracket and the underside of the limiters, so I unbolt the bracket and the spring innards and some oil promptly come out.

Nothing was damaged or lost. The valve side of this thing never came apart. However, I'll need some new gaskets and I'll need to replace the oil that leaked out.

So... is there anyplace I can order the gaskets? What sort of oil was that? (it felt like 3-in-1 machine oil...). How much oil is supposed to be in there? Is it supposed to be in there? There's no mention of oil in the volvo greenbook...

I did not see rebuild kits anyplace but CVI, so I may just trace out some new gaskets and make my own. is there any goop I can use for the gaskets instead?

I've been looking over the instruction in a 140 manual and the things seems very simple but any tips or advice is appreciated.

Also... are these things adjustable to the point that I could use both the 67 and 68 single-circuit units in my dual-circuit upgrade? That is, could I clean and adjust both so that I do not have to buy two new 1800 or 140 limiters that come from a dual-circuit car??

Thanks as always
