95 940 oil pan and hose

I am now getting ready to replace the oil trap drain hose and oil pan gasket.I purchased oem parts from the dealer. Does the hose just push up onto a flange and then get clamped? Do I leave the pan gasket dry or put a little rtv around the front ant rear seal carriers? Any advice would be helpful as I don't want to pull the pan again. Thank you !!! Joe S
