My driver's interior door suffered a mishap and I cannot figure out how to fix it despite having taken off the panel. After one particular instance of opening the driver's door to get out, I heard a "crack" and now the flipper handle does not rest securely back against the door once released. It's loose. There is a thin, small metal rod that looks suspect but we cannot figure out where it goes or how to get it there. The cable mechanism works fine and the door is completely functional, but this floppy flipper is annoying... Thanks for any help!
