I recently acquired a free ’86 760 turbo from a friend. It’s got 290K miles and is a little rough around the edges but the price was right! The only problem is it stalls when idling. It actually seem to idle better when the engine is cold. Replaced the spark plugs, distributor cap/rotor, checked the idle motor, and cleaned the TB nothing helped. I’m not a competent mechanic really all I know how to do is general maintenance. Figure it could be a fuel problem but don’t know how to check it. Hoping someone might be able to shed some light on the situation.
