OK I have already read the FAQ and many posts.
I serviced the bushing where it goes thru the glass, and found it to be in good shape. I greased it with waterproof Phil Wood bicycle grease, and lubed everything else with white grease or tri-flow.
The motor looks totally clean and uncorroded unlike the many postings ive seen.
The tailgate trim panel is still off, and the motor is quiet in operation.
I have not tested the relay; don't have a tester.
Since last winter I've noticed that especially when it is cold, the wiper moves very slowly.
The wiper slowly begins to function normally.
Also, the intermittent setting doesn't work when the motor is cold - it will
"park" in the middle of a stroke. I think that this might be because the relay is cutting off the power at the correct interval, but the blade just has been moving so slowly.
Once "warmed up" the intermittent setting works correctly.
Bad brushes? Testing procedure?
