Driver door air leak 700

Hey all,
I have some air coming through the window or most possibly through the door's rubbers on the driver side. Of course, this is annoying when you do lots of mileage, especially when the temp is getting cooler.

Anyone had this problem? I suspect the rubber along the perimeter of the door (mostly around the window) to be the problem.

If it is indeed the rubber, are pre-1990 doors and post-1990 doors compatible? My dad has 2 1985ish 740s I could possibly look onto. Is it a difficult DIY job to pull out the rubbers and put them back on? Having had air leak problems before on my C70, I am sorta prudent when it comes to jobs than can worsen the actual condition of the car

Advices welcome.
