Quick question about a 1993 245 NA manual. I have had a little (about 2" diameter by 1/4" deep) round rubber disk with raised edges bouncing around on my floor mat for, oh, about a year now.

It looks like a black rubber disk with two o-rings fused to both sides of the disk at the rim. it has "Volvo 941269 2552 2" printed on it, but a quick online search revealed nothing.

Anyone know where it came from, what it was supposed to do?

I'm secretly hoping that properly reattaching it will boost my hp by 50%, torque by 40%, fuel economy by 6mpg, and decrease noise by 30%. Or maybe it is a tiny emergency spare tire that magically inflates to full size when you just add water?

Or at least it will resolve a year old minor, but nagging, question.
