intake manifold vacuum hoses? 700 1990

I have been rebuilding my 1990 740 turbo wagon these last two months and have another question to ask you guys. On the intake manifold there are three vacuum lines and the middle one on mine has a plug on it which I don't believe should be there. In other words this port should have a vacuum hose and if so where would it connect to??
