No Start - New fuel pumps & relay...What next?!? 700 1985

Hi,

I've been reading lots that I've found here over the past month and learning so much, but, boy oh boy! I'm at the point of being completely overwhelmed! (I should say that I'm a single mother with absolutely no mechanical knowledge as of a month ago...but I'm a quick study!!)

Anyway, over a month ago, my car just died as I was driving and wouldn't start again. No fuel pressure to the rail. The engine wouldn't turn over again, so I towed it home. (That was the first lesson - how to tow a car!)

So, at this point, my car ('85 760 Turbo) has new fuel pumps as well as a new relay. I can now hear the pump when the key is turned and the gas pressure is good. There is about 3/8ths of a tank of gas. Battery is low now, but I'm trickle-charging it (I can't get a boost due to where I managed to park it - although I suppose I could if that was the solution).

Fuse 11 (um...fuel intake fuse) doesn't seem to show any current, but the fuse was replaced and still no show...

Hmm...what else can I tell you? Again, I hope what I said was at least somewhat clear; I'm just learning! (Oh, and I live on an island, that's the reason I didn't just call my Volvo guy!!)

Thanks,
Esme
