hey there brickboarders:
i've got what seems like a leak at my exhaust manifold somewhere, it's an airy pfut-pfut-pfut under load.
i've replaced the gaskets on both sides of the exhaust manifold (by the block and by the downpipe.)
i've replaced the manifold with a newer one from the junkyard. the rest of the exhaust system is a brand new ipd sport exhaust.
i noticed when listening with a length of tube that two spark plugs were leaking air, i re-tapped the holes and now they're sealed up tight.
what could this be other than exhaust leaks? could it maybe be detonation i'm hearing? could it be something on the valvetrain? it sounds a lot like a lawnmower, but only when i'm accelerating.
thanks for your help, everyone.
