Hey ya'll. This isnt a problem so much as a nagging quirk I'd rather have solved before I try and likely destroy my wiring by going the relay and E-Code route. (Never done wiring before in ANYTHING and scared to death of it...)
So... the BFWR lights up the moment you turn on the low-beams after the car has been started OR when you switch back to low-beams only after having the high-beams on for more than 10-15 seconds. This occurs 100% of the time. I can get it to go out by flashing my highs for a moment. It stays out until I either turn the lights off, regardless of whether the car is turned off, or the highs are used for 10-15+ seconds.
So... Im clueless. I dont know dink about dink when it comes to wiring other than what makes a circuit and the like. Think 3rd grade science.
The only OTHER time it seems to go off, quite rarely at that, is when I've been sitting at a light for a very long time or at a restaurant drive-up. This has occured during the day when all lighting was off, save for the brake lights, obviously.
Related? Normal for my year of 240? Another quirk on my path to zero'ing out my precious "Kino".
Thanks!
