Fuel pump regulator recommendation? 140-160

Hello,

I've been reading the archives and saw that Weber DGVs require only 1-3 psi (fuel pressure) and have a max limit of 4 psi. I've got the higher pressure FCP\IPD mechanical fuel pump and the 32\36 Weber DGV and have noticed some minmal leakage from the gaskets on the carb. The carb also doesn't really seem to respond to adjustments as well and it should as it was jetted for a stock B20. So I put in a "Mr. Gasket" inline adjustable fuel pressure regulator. This regulator was heavy and leaked badly at the threads (connections were TIGHT though). Should I try again using plumber's tape on the threads or is there another regulator that is better (yet not really expensive) that you would recommend?

Additionally, I'm using a 3\16" fuel hose as I did with the SU's and ZS's I had on before. It fits the fuel pump connection perfectly, but seems too small for the DGV fuel connection (it barely fits on the end). Do I need a biggler size fuel hose?

Thanks for all the help, the car's performance is steadily improving with each answered question!
