Water loss 900 1995

Car is a 2.5lt 965 estate (inline 6). Problem is car loses water at the rate of approx 100m/pint.
However, shows no signs of overheating, no oil in the water or vice vers, and the system holds pressure if left overnight. Runs fine until the water level warning light comes on requesting another pint (like the driver!!!) I can't see any obvious leaks either. Mileage is 202000m. Help.
