uuuh-oh, a smoke-show!!??!! S90-V90

"Condition: Black" is my 1997 960 147K, and I have put on the last 44K.....
Well you see here Sat. I had to accelerate really, really hard getting on the highway to get up into traffic and to avoid getting stuck behind some slow 18 wheelers.....an immense whisp, no, a huge cloud of white smoke blew out the exhaust immedietly for about 15 seconds....but she kept on a chuggin,'
I got to a safe area and check her out, but running A-OK.
Checked the oil, good to go- hhhmm???

I just had new timing belt, tensioner, & pulley installed for some $500- so I am not abusing my car at all......its a keeper in pretty good shape!
What are the possible engine issues here to be concerned about???
