940 Lights and Instrument Cluster Failure 900

Hello All
I have a 1993 940 (315k miles) non turbo which while driving would periodically lose engine power and die. Lights would dim and instrument gauges would fail just before the engine died. I had the dealer install an injection module (on wheel wall by the battery) now the car appears to experience the dimming lights and instrument cluster failure but does not lose engine power. The dealership checked the codes and could find nothing. I've had the alternator checked as well and no fault there. Any ideas would be appreciated.
