I've been referred to someone who is giving away a 1985 Volvo 240 DL nearby my town...

I only know a small bit about it, my hopes is to take it off this guys hands.

The only things I know about it is that it has less than 200k miles and SOMETHING froze and burned up a belt. Timing belt was changed 2 years ago. He thinks its the alternator but really hasn't looked into it. I'm thinking it's the ac compressor, in which case I will only need to purchase a special belt.

If you had to guess, what do you think froze?

Trying to be prepared when I take a look at this thing
