Seat Belts 1800 1971

Hi.

I putrchased a P1800E a while ago & have nearly finished the restore. (Thanks to quite a few people for some assistance).

OK I want to change the seat bealts to inertia seat belts. (The current original belts have 2 mounting points). The new seat belt (Made by Sicherheitsgurt - Part number 1006805 Model ECE R16-04) Says it suits a P1800 (Also PV544, 121, 140).

Problem is firstly the instructions are in German - If anyone has English instructions, this would be appreciated. Secondly I cannot see how to mount. Inertia pull point must be from directly above. I have followed the point straight up and in the headlining there does appear to be a hole (I can feel it with my finger, but do not want to rip the head lining - in case I am wrong. The seat belt seams to need 3 mount points as it has 3 "mount plates". I can only assume (& this is a guess) that it mounts from the bottom, then goes to the head linning point & then back to the original point (somehow)to "triangleate" for mounting strength. Only problem I see is all this would then impose on anyone getting in the rear as the seat belt would be just behind the driver and blocking the way. Not a major problem - just an observation.
