1990 volvo 240, gona go to the bone yard for a fuel sending unit + pump, 50% off! however, what year volvo will fit? can i use a sedan and wagon 240 model? 200

its gona be cold tomarrow but i need to fix my gas leak, the top hoses have croded and are leaking out of the fuel sender onto the gastank. how can i tell if one leaks or is bad?
